Manual Stitch
1.
Enter the distributor’s
utilities as described in
chapter “16.1 Engineering
Utilities
2. Make fine adjustments to
the stitch values of each
section of the SingleSensor
CIS Assy by over writing
the appropriate value and
clicking ‘Set Stitch’
If the image, scanned at 600dpi, needs an adjustment of (for example)1 pixel, change the value at the
CIS area (e.g. CIS1) by 1 count in the same direction that moving the line will solve the problem. The
same is true for both the FB and LR stitch values. If an adjustment is made to any of the inner values,
then all values before that point need to be change by exactly the same amount in the same direction.
Values cannot be negative numbers.
Example: CIS 3 has a step of 2 pixels higher than CIS 4, adjust CIS’s 1, 2 and 3 by -2 counts or CIS 4
and 5 by +2 counts.
It is important to always click ‘Set Stitch’ after making any adjustments, as these new figures are not
sent to the scanner unless it is set.
Useful Information:
FB stitch range: 0
– 32
LR stitch range: 0
