Read all of these instructions before commencing installation.
THIS UNIT WILL FIT A SINGLE RECESSED PATTRESS BOX (MINIMUM DEPTH 30MM)
IT IS NOT SUITABLE TO FIT TO A SURFACE MOUNTED PATTRESS BOX.
NOTE
: PATTRESS SCREWS ARE NOT PROVIDED.
The minimum depth quoted does not allow the 12V driver to fit inside the pattress box. The driver must be located in a suitable position. A pattress box
of minimum depth 50mm will be needed to locate the driver inside the pattress box. Care must be taken that the driver is not damaged when screwing in
the pattress screws.
INSTALLATION
1. Install two wires to the pattress box
i. For 12V DC supply to the DMXT. The 12V driver is supplied with the DMXT.
ii. DMX cable for the DMX signal output.
2. Disassemble the unit by:
i. Pulling off the frame.
ii. Separating the DMXT and back plate by pushing on the green terminal block.
3. Fix the DMXT back plate to the pattress box with standard pattress box screws (not provided) as shown below, with the widest slot on the left.
4. Connect the 12V DC supply to the DMXT connections and -, ensuring correct polarity is maintained.
5. Connect the DMX cable to the terminals marked DMX A and B, plus the ground if being used.
6. Connect the driver to the mains supply. Ensure mains supply is isolated before doing this.
