Safety

•  The hairdryer can be used on either 110 V or 230 V. Before 

connecting the hairdryer to the mains, make sure that you have 
selected the correct setting on the hairdryer for the power supply 
you are using.

•  If the hair dryer is used in the bathroom, pull the plug from the 

wall socket after use since proximity to water will still pose a 
danger even if the product is not in use.

•  For extra safety, all electrical products connected to the mains 

should be run through an RCD for personal safety. The RCD 
should be rated to trip at: 30 mA. Consult an electrician if you 
are in the least uncertain.

•  Before you connect the hairdryer to the mains outlet, make  

sure that the voltage on the socket coincides with the  
hairdryer voltage.

•  Keep the hairdryer away from water. Never use the hairdryer in 

the bathtub or near the shower or washbasin.

•  Always switch off the hairdryer if you put it down.

•  The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including 

children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,  
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they they have 
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the 
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

•  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play 

with the appliance.

•  Keep the hairdryer away from children.

•  Never block the air intake.

•  Always pull the cord out of the wall

•  Do not expose the hairdryer to moisture, blows, or shocks.

•  Do not use the hairdryer if the cord or plug are damaged. Also, 

do not use the hairdryer if you have dropped it on the floor or  
in water. 

•  Do not open the casing. Some of the components inside the 

product’s casing have live voltage. Touching them can cause 
electric shock.

•  Do not pull the dryer by the cord. Do not use the cord as a 

handle and avoid getting it pinched in a door. Do not pull it over 
sharp edges or corners.

•  Always pull the plug from the wall socket before you clean the 

hairdryer or when you do not intend to use it for some time.

•  Never modify or dismantle the hairdryer.

•  The hairdryer should only be repaired by qualified service 

personnel.

After washing your hair, first towel-dry your hair then blow-dry it. 
Make sure that the hairdryer is set to the correct power supply 
setting. Plug in the hairdryer and then select a suitable speed  
using the selector switch.

Care and cleaning 

Always unplug the device from the wall socket before cleaning.  
Regularly wipe the hairdryer with a soft, damp cloth.
