Set gear shift lever to the “NEUTRAL”
position.

3. Push the accelerator pedal down slowly.

4. Insert the key into the key switch and turn it
to:
KEY ( Remove Key) (1)
OFF (Stop the Engine) (2)
ACC (Headlights and/or accessories on) (3)
ON (Engine runs and/or headlights on) (4)
START (Start Engine) (5)

Engine and other Check Lamps:
The parking brake warning lamp (1 parking
brake) illuminates while parking brake is
applied and goes off when it is released.
IMPORTANT :
Relying on the engine warning lights is never
enough. Always conduct daily checks
carefully by referring to the Pre Operation
Check list in
“PERIODIC SERVICE” section.
