Fan overview
1 Sleeve (2x): Stress-free connection of the inlet (A) and outlet (B) con-
nections to the connection ducts.
2 Inlet cover, removable: Directs the conveyed medium through the inlet
connection (A) into the fan. Serves as maintenance opening.
3 Sealing ring: Seals inlet cover (2) to casing (7).
4 Hub cap: Seals clamping adapter (5) and motor shaft (C) from contact
with the conveyed medium.
5 Clamping adapter set: Fixes the impeller (6) to the motor shaft (C).
6 Impeller: Backward curved impeller blades, balanced, balancing quality
G6.3 according to ISO 21940-11.
7 Casing
8 Splinter protection: Prevents fragments from being ejected in the event
of impeller breakage.
9 Vibration damper: Absorbs damaging vibration and serves for fastening
the fan.

Function description
In the centrifugal fan, a gaseous medium is drawn in through the inlet connec-
tion in the direction of the motor axis and deflected radially by the rotating im-
peller.
