Procedure:
1. Prepare fan for measurement:
• Loosen sleeve at the inlet connection.
• Remove ductwork end at the inlet connection.
• Check fixed position of impeller on motor shaft.
• Check impeller mobility.
2. Conduct measurement according to figure 40.
3. Compare measured distance X with value from table.
Actions for significant deviation of measured value:
1. Remove hub cap.
2. Check hub adapter, key, and impeller hub for damage.
3. Tighten hub adapter to specified tightening torque.
4. Check impeller mobility.
5. Press new hub cap onto hub.
6. Assemble fan.
7. Conduct test run
