Remote Start / Stop Feature

Press BOTH buttons on the remote control. If all safety parameters are
correct, the engine will start within 5 seconds (diesel engines will take
longer.) Press and hold BOTH buttons again to turn off the vehicle. (Turn
to page 6 for more on remote start features.)

* Throughout this manual, ‘press’ refers to pressing for less than 1 second; ‘press and hold’ refers to pressing

for more than 1 second.

If you have chosen the Silent Arming Option, the parking lights will not flash when locking or unlocking until
the appropriate button is pressed a second time.

Locking the Vehicle Doors

To lock the doors, press

 the LOCK button. The parking lights will

flash, indicating the system has locked the doors.

Unlocking the Vehicle Driver’s Door

To unlock the doors,only the vehicle driver’s door (if this option is
selected), press

*

 UNLOCK button. The the parking lights will flash,

indicating the system has unlocked the doors.

Activating the Trunk Release Feature

Press and hold TRUNK to open the vehicle trunk or hatch (if equipped
and connected). If this button is used to operate another accessory,
the accessory will stay active for as long as the button is held.
