Maintenance tasks
Carefully read and follow the instructions on maintenance of the AVIATOR
Wireless Handset. Failure to carefully observe the following procedures and
precautions can result in leakage of battery fluid, permanent damage to
batteries and serious personal injury!

Battery handling for the AVIATOR Wireless Handset
• Do not dismantle, open or shred the AVIATOR Wireless Handset. It
should be dismantled only by trained personnel.
• Do not expose the AVIATOR Wireless Handset or batteries to heat or
fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not subject the AVIATOR Wireless Handset or batteries to
mechanical shock.
Leaking battery
In the event of an AVIATOR Wireless Handset leaking liquid, do not allow
the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been
made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek
medical advice.
Note
If the AVIATOR Wireless Handset is out of use for a longer period
of time, recharge the battery every two years to avoid
deterioration of the battery.
