• Where Standard-Width (single-card) rear module is used, card is
typically inserted in top guide pair.
• Where Split (dual-card) rear module is used, one card is inserted in
top guide pair, and the other is inserted in lower guide pair.

Card-Edge Mating Connector
Push card lightly and fully into slot until card-edge connector on card
fully mates with Rear I/O Module mating connector.

In most cases, a Standard-Width rear
module will place the mating connector
such that card in top slot mates with
connector. However, some
Standard-Width rear modules will have
the connector mating with card in lower
slot. Assess proper installation
orientation before installing card.
