removed or covered. Signs on the product that
are no longer legible must be replaced immedi-
ately.
Dust extraction
Dusts from materials such as lead-containing paint,
some types of wood, minerals and metal may be
harmful to health. Touching of inhaling the dusts can
cause allergic reactions and/or ailments of the res-
piratory tract of the user or persons in the vicinity.
Certain dusts such as oak or beech dust are consid-
ered carcinogenic, particularly in combination with
wood treatment additives (chromate, wood preserva-
tives). Materials containing asbestos may only be
processed by experts.
– Always use a dust extraction facility.
– Make sure the workplace is well ventilated.
– Always wear a dust protection mask.
– Observe the regulations valid in your country for
the materials to be processed.
Risks caused by vibrations
The vibration values specified in the technical data
represent the main uses of the device. The actual
existing vibrations during use may deviate from these
as a result of the following factors:

Incorrect use of the product;
•
Unsuitable tools inserted;
•
Unsuitable material;
•
Insufficient maintenance.
You can reduce the risks considerably by following
the tips below:
– Maintain the device in accordance with the
instructions in the operating instructions.
– Avoid working at low temperatures.
– When it is cold, make sure your body and your
hands, in particular, are kept warm.
– Take regular breaks and move your hands at the
same time to promote circulation.

Assembly
Fit the additional hand grip
The additional handle can be attached on the left
[1]
or on the right
[2]
of the product.
– Screw the additional hand grip (10) firmly into the
threaded hole on the appliance.
Mount the dust collector
– Push the suction hose (11) onto the suction con-
nection (5) and allow it to engage securely.
– Push the free end of the suction hose (11) onto
the collection bag (12) and allow it to engage
securely.
Attach the sanding disc
The fixture of the sanding disc takes place by means
of hook and loop adhesion.
– Carefully align the sanding disc and press it firmly
onto the sanding plate.
Read and observe the instructions for use
before using the product for the first time.

Never look di-
rectly into the LED.
CAUTION! Risk of injury due to vibra-
tions!
Vibrations may, in particular for per-
sons with circulation problems, cause dam-
age to blood vessels and/or nerves.
If you notice any of the following symptoms,
stop working immediately and consult a
doctor. Numbness of body parts, loss of
sense of feeling, itching, pins and needles,
pain, changes in skin colour.
Wear close-fitting work clothes
If you have long hair, wear a head covering.
Wear a dust mask when working in dusty en-
vironments.
Wear hearing protection.
Wear protective goggles.
Do not wear gloves near rotating machine
parts.

The product has an integrated dust
extraction unit. Separate dust extraction
using other devices is not necessary.
