Instructions for fuels
Fuels with ethanol mixtures (e. g. E10)
Fuels with high ethanol mixture are more aggressive than fuels with less or without ethanol mixture.
Possibly painted surfaces and plastics can be strongly affected or damaged. Moreover, fuel with
ethanol mixture strongly reacts to influential factors such as light rays, temperature and storage
time. Hence, these fuels should be stored only in allowed containers and in suitable place for not
more than 30 days.
It is recommendable to empty the fuel tank as well as the steam separator (carburettor) if combus-
tion engine takes longer time to shutdown.
All Lux-devices are suitable for using the E10-Fuel.
Fuels with ethanol mixtures (e. g. E10) for 2-Stroke-Motor
2-Stroke-Motors (Motors with petrol lubrication) must be adjusted to the usage of fuel with high
ethanol mixture (more than 5%, e.g. E10) by specialist workshop. Thus, the country-specific envi-
ronmental conditions are to be considered and observed.
Special fuels for 2-stroke-motors
Pay attention to the details about required mixing ratio in these instructions for use. Some com-
pletely mixed fuels or special fuels (e. g. Aspen 2t or Stihl Motomix) are provided only in mixing ratio
of 1:50.
Usable saw chain oil
Use only special saw chain oils with good adhesion properties. Since the saw chain oil can pene-
trate the environment during operation, biologically-degradable special vegetable-based saw
chain oils should be used.
Note:
When used in a mixture, fuel will age particularly quickly: therefore, do not mix more fuel
than you will consume within a month.

NOTICE!
Device damage!
Under no circumstances should you use old oil to grease the saw chain! This can cause
damage to the oil pump, saw rail and chain!
