Storage
– Let the device cool down before you store it.
– Store the device as horizontally as possible. Make sure that no fuel-oil mixture can run out of
the carburetor.
Longer downtimes
– Empty the tanks for the fuel-oil mixture and saw chain oil.
– Start the motor and let it run until the motor switches off by itself (▸

– Let a teaspoon of clean two-stroke motor oil run into the combustion chamber.

Transport in a vehicle
If you are transporting the device in a vehicle:
– Let the device cool down.
– Empty the tanks for the fuel-oil mixture and saw chain oil.
– Secure the device against slipping.
Faults and remedial measures

Make sure that unauthorized persons do not have access to the device!
NOTICE!
Device damage!
If you are not going to be using the device for a while, remove the fuel and chain oil from
the device. This way, you will prevent a gumming-up of the motor and of the grease pump.
Store the device in a dry place and far away from possible sources of ignition such as
ovens, gas thermostats, etc.
WARNING!

Before transporting the unit, fit the protective cover over the saw rail.

Improper repairs can cause your device to stop functioning safely. This endangers yourself
