can also enter a comment or identification string in the Disc ID
edit box in the main window. This is a text string that is
printed on the Summary Printout, and can be used to identify the disc.
Saving Results to a Spreadsheet or Database
The summary of test results can be saved to a spreadsheet. This feature is enabled by setting the Add Results to
Spreadsheet checkbox in the Settings tab of the Preferences dialog. When enabled (checked), the summary results of
the main test will be appended to the end of a spreadsheet named CDTests.xls (for CDs), or DVDTests.xls (for DVDs).
The data can also be saved in Lotus 1-2-3 format: If you launch the DVX program with the command line switch “/L”
(without the quotes), the data will be saved in a Lotus spreadsheet named CDTests.wk1 or DVDTests.wk1. These files
are also included in the installation.
