OPERATIONS
Note: Before use, check that the unit is correctly assembled. The filters in the dust container must be
undamaged and the dust container must be inserted correctly. Motor damage could occur if dirt
enters the motor unit.
1. Insert the power plug into an electrical outlet.
2. Place the mite vacuum cleaner flat on the surface to be cleaned.
3. To switch on the unit, press the on/off switch. The unit starts to suck and the UV-C lamp switches on.
(Through the viewing window you can check whether the UV-C lamp is switched on).
4. Press the vibration button to activate the vibration head. The vibration head raises dust and makes it
easier to suck it in.
5. Now guide the unit over the surface to be cleaned,
6. To switch the unit off, press the on/off switch again.
7. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Note: The UV-C lamp becomes hot during operation! Let the UV-C lamp cool down sufficiently after use.
CARE AND STORAGE
• Clean the mite vacuum cleaner regularly to ensure optimum function.
• Never hold the appliance or the mains plug under water, as liquid can penetrate and damage the
mite sucker.
• Never touch the power plug with wet hands.
• Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These can damage the device.
• Never put the mite vacuum cleaner in the dishwasher.
• Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning or storing.
• Keep the device and accessories out of the reach of children and animals in a dry, frost-free place
protected from sunlight.
Empty dust container / clean filter
Note: Empty the dust container and clean the filters after each cleaning process. This prevents the motor
from being overloaded and guarantees a long service life.
1. Pull the dust container upwards out of the mite vacuum cleaner at the recesses.
2. Then remove the dust with the HEPA filter from the dust container.
3. Empty the dust container and clean with a dust cloth if necessary.
4. You can now remove the dust filter from the HEPA filter.
5. Clean the two filters by tapping the filters and cleaning them with a soft brush if necessary.
6. Then place the dust filter back on the HEPA filter.
7. Put the filters back into the dust container and then insert the dust container into the unit.
Note: Do not clean the filters with water and make sure that the filters and the dust container are dry
before putting them back into the appliance.
GENERAL NOTES
• Before the first use: Carefully remove the mite vacuum cleaner from the packaging and check the
device for completeness and damage. Do not use the device if any components show damage. In this
case, contact customer service.
• This device is designed to remove house mites, germs and dust and to kill bacteria. Use the machine
only as described in this manual.
• This device may also be used by children over 8 years of age and by persons with limited knowledge
regarding its handling or impairment of sensory organs, provided that they are supervised and trained
in the safe use of the device and are aware of the dangers involved.
• Make sure that children do not play with the device.
• Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by children.
• The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
• Possible residues in the dust container are due to quality controls. They do not constitute a defect in
the equipment.
• Have only authorized dealers repair all types of damage to the device.
• Excluded from the warranty are all defects caused by improper handling, damage or attempted
repairs. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the safety instructions carefully. Improper use of the mite vacuum cleaner can lead to
burns or electric shocks!
• Keep packaging material away from children and pets. There is a danger of suffocation!
• Keep away from water. Do not use this unit near bathtubs, showers, sinks, or other containers
with water.
• Never reach for an electrical appliance if it has fallen into water. Unplug the appliance immediately.
• Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. If there is visible damage to the
unit, it must not be used.
• Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned or has fallen into water.
• Never touch the appliance, power cord or plug with wet hands.
• Do not insert metal objects into the device to avoid electric shock.
• The UV-C lamp becomes hot during operation! Keep the unit away from highly inflammable objects.
Ensure that you do not have direct contact with the UV-C lamp.
• Do not look directly into the UV-C lamp. The germicidal ultraviolet radiation is harmful to skin
and eyes.
• Ensure that the safety contacts of the UV-C lamp are not blocked.
• Do not use the unit if flammable gases are present in the air or in rooms with high humidity.
• Do not cover the ventilation slots on the unit during operation.
• Keep sufficient distance from heat sources such as hotplates or ovens.
• Always switch off the appliance before pulling out the mains plug or plugging it into the socket.
• Do not suck up liquids with the mite sucker.
• Do not touch the vibration head.
• Do not pull the power plug out of the socket by the power cord.
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• The device must not be used outdoors.
• Always test the device in an inconspicuous place first.
