Cleaning UV Sterilization Cabinets
Cabinets are best cleaned using warm water and a mild detergent.
Water at temperatures above 60°C can cause damage to the Cabinets.
The cabinet should be thoroughly rinsed with warm water or distilled water to
prevent buildup of residues but care should be taken not to damage the
light unit and bulbs.
The units should never come into contact with the following cleaning agents,
these will cause irreversible and accumulative damage: -
Acetone, Phenol, Chloroform, Carbon tetrachloride, Methanol, Ethanol,
Isopropyl alcohol, Alkalis.
DO NOT use abrasive creams or scourers.
Components should always be dried with clean tissues prior to use.
The cabinet should not be used on or above surfaces cleaned with
alcohol’s
or other hydrocarbons and acids or where such compounds have been
used because of the risk of vapours damaging the acrylic.
