OVERVIEW / ENVIRONMENT
The C7130 Universal C/Port provides both Auto Equalization and Auto Delay Tuning. During the Auto
Delay Tuning, the incoming signals are equalized and then aligned to give minimum delay skew between
red, green, and blue video signals. In order for the Auto Delay Tuning to work most effectively, the Video
Sharpness Dial on the back of the C/Port (shown in
Figure 1
) should be positioned at the 12 o’clock posi-
tion, with the slot completely vertical, prior to plugging in the CAT5 cable.
If this is not done, the Auto Delay Tuning may not be completely effective, and there will be visible color
misalignment on the video.
