Play with auto accompaniment
The automatic accompaniment provides you with a complete accompaniment band. For this
purpose, so-called styles are stored in your instrument as accompaniment patterns.
Select styles
To select a style, activate the style mode by pressing the [STYLE] key. The display shows
"Style", the number and the name of the style. Use the number keys or the [+]/[-] keys to
select the desired style.
Press the [START/STOP] key or use the Sync Start function to start the style. To stop the
style, press the [START/STOP] key again or use the Ending or Fade-Out function.
Sync Start
The Sync Start function allows you to start Style playback simultaneously with your keyboard
play.
With Style playback stopped, press the [SYNC START] button to activate Sync Start mode.
The display shows the readiness by rhythmic flashing of the beats.
Now start the style playback by pressing a keyboard key.
With Chord mode off, the rhythm accompaniment will now start no matter which keyboard
key you pressed.
If Chord Mode is switched on, the chord accompaniment will now start, provided that you
press one or more keys in the left keyboard area and have thus selected the chord to be
played.
Intro/Ending
The Intro/Ending function allows you to add an intro or ending sequence to the style.
Press the [INTRO/ENDING] key while Style playback is stopped to activate the Intro/Ending
function. It is also possible to use the Sync Start function.
When starting the style playback, the style now starts with an introduction sequence. After
playing the introduction sequence, the style playback changes to the default pattern.
While the style is playing, press the [INTRO/ENDING] key to end the style with a closing
sequence. After playback of the ending sequence, style playback will stop automatically.
