Discharging
Discharging removes the memory effect from the batteries which are
not fully discharged and result in a diminished charging capacity.
1. Connect the adaptor to a power point and the DC plug to the charger.
2. Insert 1 to 4 batteries (R03, R6, R14 or R20) according to the polarity
markings on the charger. Press them securely against the bottom.
(9 V batteries (6F22) cannot be discharged).
3. Press the discharge button on left side of the display.
4. “DISCHARGE” is shown and the blue background light is
illuminated as long as discharging is in progress.
5. The battery icons flash as long as discharging is in
progress for any of the batteries.
6. Charging starts automatically when the batteries are discharged.
USB connection
1. The USB connection can only be used when the batteries
in charger are fully charged or if the charge is empty.
2. The USB symbol will be lit when the charger’s USB
connection is ready to use.
3. Connect the USB device to be charged to the USB
outlet on the back of the charger.
Note:
Power consumption cannot exceed 500 mA (5 V).
Disposal
Sort and recycle products where possible, instead of disposing
of them. All electronic products, batteries and packaging material
etc. should be sorted and processed according to local
environmental regulations.
