Freestanding Letter Box

Assembly
Installation raised off the ground
1. Lay the letter box on its side
and unscrew the 4 bolts
holding the baseplate and legs
in place. The legs are attached
on the inside of the letter box
when sold. Remove the legs
and the baseplate.
2. The letter box can either
be installed raised up off
the ground on the legs or at
ground level.
1. Attach the four legs to the baseplate.
2. Dig a 30 cm deep hole in the ground where the letter box
is to be located.
3. Fill the hole in the ground with concrete.
4. Lay a couple of planks over the hole.
5. Straddle the baseplate over the planks so that 2/3 of
the legs stick down into the concrete.
6. Use a spirit level to check that the baseplate is level.
7. Leave the concrete to dry for 24 hours before removing
the planks.
8. Undo the 4 screws on the baseplate and place the letter
box onto it.
9. Screw the letter box onto the baseplate from the inside.
4. Place the concrete slab and baseplate construction into
the hole and fill the hole with sand and soil.
5. Undo the 4 screws on the baseplate and place the letter
box onto it.
6. Screw the letter box onto the baseplate from the inside.
7. Fit the sloping shelf at the bottom of the letter box.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with
local regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed,
contact your local authority.

10. Fit the sloping shelf at the bottom of the letter box.
Installation directly on the ground
1. Attach the four legs to the baseplate.
2. Dig a 30 cm deep hole in the ground where the letter box
is to be located.
3. Bolt the legs onto a concrete slab.
