Safety
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from physical or mental impairment.
This product should not be used by anyone who does not have the proper experience or knowledge of
the product unless they have been instructed in its use by someone who takes responsibility for their safety.

• For indoor use only. Not for use in stables, barns, etc.
• Do not operate the product in strong sunlight as the effectiveness might be reduced.
• Do not operate the product in environments containing flammable vapours.
• Store the product in a dry location.
• Never use the product if the plug, mains lead or any other part is damaged.
• Do not touch the high-voltage electric mesh during use.

Product description
The insect catcher uses two UV tubes to lure flying insects into the electrically charged mesh which zaps them.
Designed for indoor use only.
Operation
• Plug the mains lead into a wall socket and turn it on. The ultra-violet tubes will emit a blue light.
• If the plastic tray fills up with dead insects it can be emptied by pulling it out. Turn the power off before emptying
the collector tray.
Replacing the fluorescent tube
Do not change the fluorescent tube yourself if you are at all unsure. Let a qualified technician perform this service for you
in such cases. You can change the fluorescent tubes by following the instructions below if you feel qualified for the task.
1. Make sure that the mains lead is unplugged and that the product is turned off.
2. Remove two of the screws on either side of the base.
Note:
You only need to remove the screws on one of the sides.
3. Remove the blue plastic foot.
4. Fold out the metal side.
5. Lift off the black screen on the side so you can access the tubes.
6. Scrape away the hot glue used to secure the tube to its holder and remove it.
7. Install a new tube of the same type and secure it using a hot glue gun, restoring it to its original condition.
8. Replace all the parts in reverse order.
Care and maintenance
• Regularly brush dead insects off the mesh. Unplug the lead before cleaning.
• Never use water to clean the product.
