Sandwich grill for 2 sandwiches. Non-stick coating prevents
food from sticking when grilling.

Safety
Place the sandwich grill on a dry, level and durable sur-
face. Ensure that there is plenty of free space around and
above the grill.
Please note that the sandwich grill becomes very hot dur-
ing use. Do not touch any other parts except the handles
to avoid burns.
Please note that steam may rise from the sandwich grill
when the lid is lifted.
Only use the sandwich grill as described in these instructions.
Do not leave the sandwich grill unattended in the presence
of children.
Always disconnect the unit from the electricity supply be-
fore cleaning and when the unit will not be used for a long
period of time.
Do not immerse the grill in water when cleaning it.
Ensure that the power cable does not come in contact with
hot surfaces, such as a hob.
Do not touch the sandwich grill with wet hands.
Do not subject the sandwich grill to damp, shocks and
other impacts.
Ensure that the voltage is 230 V and that the sandwich grill
is connected to an earthed outlet.
Do not drag or carry the sandwich grill by the power lead.
Do not pull the power lead and ensure that it does not get
pinched. Do not drag the cable around sharp corners and
edges.
Do not use the sandwich grill if the power lead or the plug
is damaged. Do not use it if it has been dropped, left out-
doors or immersed in water.
The unit should only be used and stored indoors.
Do not open the cover. Dangerous voltages are present in
certain unprotected components inside the cover of the unit.
Contact with such components can cause electric shock.
The sandwich grill should only be repaired by qualified
service personnel.
Do not modify or disassemble the sandwich grill.

Before Using for the First Time
Brush the grill surfaces lightly with cooking fat and heat for
approx. 10 minutes with the lid closed. Let the unit cool down
and then wipe the grilling surfaces.
Operation
1. Connect the power lead to an electrical outlet. Both indi-
cator lamps light up. Pre-heat the sandwich grill until the
green indicator lamp goes out.
2. Open the lid and place the sandwiches in the grill.
3. Close the lid carefully.
4. Open the lid carefully when the sandwiches are done
and remove them from the grill with a plastic or wooden
kitchen implement to avoid scratching the coating.
5. For best results, close the lid when you have removed
the sandwiches and do not open it until you put in more.
Care and Cleaning
1. Always disconnect the unit from the power point and let
the sandwich grill cool down before cleaning.
2. Brush away crumbs and food scraps from the grilling
surfaces or wipe them clean with a kitchen towel.
Do not
immerse the sandwich grill in water or other liquids when
cleaning it.
3. Clean the outside of the sandwich grill with a damp cloth
and, if necessary, a mild detergent. Avoid solvents and
abrasive detergents.
Disposal
Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product.
