Buttons and functions

Establishing a Bluetooth connection with
a tablet/mobile phone/computer, etc.

Pull the charger cable (sold separately)
through the hole in the stand and fix
the cable to the bottom of the stand.

1.  [ CONNECT ]  Bluetooth  connection
2.  [ OFF/ON ]  Power  switch
3.  Battery cover
4.  LED indicator – shines green when [ Caps Lock ] is activated
5.  LED Bluetooth connection indicator
6.  LED battery status indicator – shines blue when the keyboard is switched

on if the battery has enough capacity to power the keyboard. If the indicator
shines weakly when the keyboard is switched on, it is a sign that
the batteries will need replacing soon.

Note:

Most LED indicators above will switch off after a few seconds to save

battery power.

Operating instructions

Batteries

1.  Open the battery compartment and insert the batteries (2 × AAA/LR03).

Note the polarity markings in the battery compartment to ensure correct
battery insertion.

2.  Refit the battery cover.

1.  Set the [ OFF/ON ] switch (2) to

the

ON

 position.

2.  Push and hold in [ CONNECT ] (1)

for 3 seconds.

3.  The green LED Bluetooth indicator (5) will flash

to show that the keyboard is detectable for
other devices.

4.  Activate Bluetooth on the device you intend to connect to the keyboard. Refer to

the instruction manual of your device for further clarification if you are unsure.

5.  The keyboard will now appear on your device as “Bluetooth keyboard”,

select it.

6.  The keyboard’s passkey will now appear on your device. Enter this passkey

on your device and then press [ ENTER ]. The two devices will now connect
(pair) with each other.

Note:

•

The keyboard can only be paired with one device at a time.

•

If, for example, you have the keyboard paired with your iPad and then
decide to pair it with your mobile phone instead, you can’t just reactivate
the previous connection to your iPad. You will have to delete the keyboard
(Bluetooth keyboard) from the list of Bluetooth devices connected from
your iPad and then carry out a new Bluetooth device search to re-establish
a fresh connection.

The stand

The stand can be used as a charging and storage cradle for
a telephone or tablet PC.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the keyboard clean with a dry cloth as and when required.

interfering with the wireless keyboard connection.

•

If the device that you are attempting to connect
the keyboard to is already connected to another

the keyboard from pairing with your current device.
Disconnect the other (disrupting) wireless device.

Certain
special
character
keys do
not work.

•

If the any of the keys do not seem to work when using
