Safety
•
Do not subject the keyboard to knocks and blows.
•
Do not place the keyboard where there is a risk that it may fall into water or
other liquids.
•
Do not place the keyboard close to a strong heat source or expose it to
direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
•
Never attempt to tamper with, repair or modify the keyboard in any way.
Buttons and functions
Establishing a Bluetooth connection with
a tablet/mobile phone/computer, etc.
Pull the charger cable (sold separately)
through the hole in the stand and fix
the cable to the bottom of the stand.

2. [ OFF/ON ] Power switch

4. LED indicator – shines green when [ Caps Lock ] is activated
5. LED Bluetooth connection indicator
6. LED battery status indicator – shines blue when the keyboard is switched
on if the battery has enough capacity to power the keyboard. If the indicator
shines weakly when the keyboard is switched on, it is a sign that
the batteries will need replacing soon.
Note:
Most LED indicators above will switch off after a few seconds to save
battery power.
Operating instructions
Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment and insert the batteries (2 × AAA/LR03).
Note the polarity markings in the battery compartment to ensure correct
battery insertion.
2. Refit the battery cover.
1. Set the [ OFF/ON ] switch (2) to
the
ON
position.
2. Push and hold in [ CONNECT ] (1)
for 3 seconds.
3. The green LED Bluetooth indicator (5) will flash
to show that the keyboard is detectable for
other devices.
4. Activate Bluetooth on the device you intend to connect to the keyboard. Refer to
the instruction manual of your device for further clarification if you are unsure.
5. The keyboard will now appear on your device as “Bluetooth keyboard”,
select it.
6. The keyboard’s passkey will now appear on your device. Enter this passkey
on your device and then press [ ENTER ]. The two devices will now connect
(pair) with each other.
Note:
•
The keyboard can only be paired with one device at a time.
•
If, for example, you have the keyboard paired with your iPad and then
decide to pair it with your mobile phone instead, you can’t just reactivate
the previous connection to your iPad. You will have to delete the keyboard
(Bluetooth keyboard) from the list of Bluetooth devices connected from
your iPad and then carry out a new Bluetooth device search to re-establish
a fresh connection.
The stand
The stand can be used as a charging and storage cradle for
a telephone or tablet PC.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the keyboard clean with a dry cloth as and when required.
Troubleshooting guide
The keyboard
won’t turn on.
The batteries might be flat. Check the batteries and
replace if necessary.
The keyboard
doesn’t work.
•
Make sure that a Bluetooth connection has been
properly established. Refer to the
Establishing
a Bluetooth connection...
section above.
•
Make sure that no other wireless devices are
interfering with the wireless keyboard connection.
•
If the device that you are attempting to connect
the keyboard to is already connected to another
Bluetooth device, this may impair or prevent
the keyboard from pairing with your current device.
Disconnect the other (disrupting) wireless device.
Certain
special
character
keys do
not work.
•
If the any of the keys do not seem to work when using
the keyboard, it could mean that the settings in your
smartphone or tablet are not correctly set. Check that
the language setting is correct, e.g. English UK.
Samsung
•
The keyboard language settings can be found under
Settings/My Device/Language and input language.
Click on the cog symbol to the right of Samsung
Keyboard/Input language.
iPhone/iPad
•
Keyboard language settings are listed under Settings/
General/Keyboard/Keyboard/. The current language
setting will be displayed. Click on the desired
language to change.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local council.
