Safety

•  The cable reel needs to be mounted close to a wall

socket and with enough room for it to swivel round.

•  Mount the cable reel out of children’s reach.
•  If the clicking sound stops when you are unwinding

the cable, it means that you have unwound it to
the maximum length. Let a little of the cable reel wind
back onto the reel until it locks in place.

•  Do not overload the cable reel.
•  Hold onto the cable whilst it is winding back onto

the reel to prevent any injuries.

•  If the thermal protection has triggered, let the cable

cool before resetting it.

•  If the cable does not reel in completely, pull it all

the way out and try again.

•  Do not use the cable reel if the cable or any other part

of the product is damaged. Repairs must be carried
out by a qualified tradesman or workshop.

•  Make sure that the electrical socket that the product

is plugged into is easily accessible in case it
and the connected product need to be quickly
disconnected from the mains electricity.

•  Do not connect products of this type to each other.
•  Do not cover the product.

Installation

The cable reel should be mounted onto a wall using
appropriate screws for the material and bearing capacity
of the wall.

Operating instructions

1. Plug the cable reel into a wall socket. The LED will

come on.

2. Unwind the desired length of cable; there is a clicking

sound when the cable is being unwound.

3. Release the cable to fix the desired length.
4. After use, pull the cable lightly and let it rewind

automatically onto the reel.

If the thermal protection has triggered:
1. Unplug the cable reel from the wall socket.
2. Allow the product to cool to room temperature.
3. Push the red button to reset it.
4. Plug the cable reel back into a wall socket – the LED

should come on again.
