Safety

• 

The Bluetooth receiver should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.

• 

The product should not be taken apart or modified. Certain exposed parts 
inside the casing carry dangerous current. Contact with these can lead to fire 
or electric shock.

• 

The product is designed for indoor use only.

• 

Never subject the Bluetooth receiver to high temperature, dust, heavy 
vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.

Description

Pairing with a Bluetooth device

1.  First read the instruction manual of the device which is to be paired with 

the Bluetooth receiver.

2.  Plug the Bluetooth receiver into a wall socket. The Bluetooth indicator (3) will 

start to flash indicating that the Bluetooth receiver is in pairing mode.

3.  Activate the Bluetooth function on the device to be paired (linked) with 

the Bluetooth receiver. Make sure that the device which is to be paired with 
the Bluetooth receiver is no more than 1 metre away from it.

4.  The pairing device scans for Bluetooth devices and any devices found will be 

shown on the display. Select

5.  When the Bluetooth indicator (3) flashes twice every fourth second the pairing 

is complete.

6.  If prompted for a PIN code, enter 

0000

. Some devices require that you 

accept the pairing by pressing 

YES

Confirm

Note:

 The Bluetooth receiver’s pairing mode is active for 2 minutes, if within 

this time the pairing process has not been completed the receiver returns to 
standby mode. Unplug it from the wall socket and then plug it back in again 
to activate the pairing mode.

• 

Note:

 The Bluetooth receiver can hold up to 8 devices in its memory, if 

an additional device is paired, it will replace the first device in the memory.

• 

If the distance between the Bluetooth receiver and the connected device 
becomes too great, the Bluetooth receiver will enter standby mode. If the 
Bluetooth receiver and the connected device come back in range of each 
other again within 5 minutes they will be paired again automatically.

Charging from the USB port

Connect the product to be charged to the charging port. Use a suitable USB cable. 
The output of the charging port is 5 V DC, 1 A.

The Bluetooth indicator

Shows the Bluetooth receiver’s function.

The Bluetooth indicator flashes continuously in pairing mode.

• 

The Bluetooth indicator flashes once every other second in standby mode 
(no device is connected).

• 

The Bluetooth indicator flashes twice every fourth second in active mode (a 
device is connected and ready for use).

Care and maintenance

Always unplug the Bluetooth receiver’s mains lead before cleaning.
Clean the Bluetooth receiver using a soft, moist cloth. Use a mild detergent and 
never use solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning as these can 
damage the Bluetooth receiver.

Troubleshooting

Why can’t the Bluetooth receiver pair with my telephone?
• 

Check that the Bluetooth receiver is in pairing mode.

• 

The Bluetooth receiver’s pairing mode is active for 2 minutes, if within this 
time the pairing process has not been completed the receiver returns to 
standby mode. Unplug it from the wall socket and then plug it back in again 
to activate the pairing mode.

Why does my telephone not automatically connect to the Bluetooth receiver?
• 

If you have been out of range of the Bluetooth receiver for less than 5 
minutes, the pairing should take place automatically. If you have been out of 
the Bluetooth receiver’s range for more than 5 minutes, you must connect 
manually from your telephone.

Operating instructions

BTR011 is a Bluetooth receiver which enables you to listen to music on a music 
player which doesn’t support Bluetooth. The signal is transmitted wirelessly from 
a Bluetooth-enabled telephone, tablet, etc to the Bluetooth receiver and then to 
your HiFi, TV, etc via a cable connected to the line-out socket.
1.  Plug the Bluetooth receiver into a wall socket.
2.  Pair the Bluetooth receiver with your Bluetooth-enabled phone/ transmitter.

3.  Connect an external audio player/HiFi system to the line-out socket via 

a cable with a 3.5 mm plug.

4.  Music can now be transmitted from the Bluetooth-enabled transmitter device 

to the audio player/HiFi system.
