Never throw used batteries onto the fire, as this may  
pose a risk for explosion.

Used batteries should be left in for recycling at an  
approved recycling centre.

Product description

Use

AAA/LR03, AA/LR6, C/LR14 and 
D/LR20 batteries

1.  Pull out the test arm and position the battery 

as shown in the illustration, with the plus 
pole facing upwards.

2.  Push the test arm in so that it makes good 

contact with the battery’s poles.

3.  Check the LED indicators for your battery’s 

charge status.

2.  Good, green LED,  

fully charged

3.  Weak, yellow LED,  

semi charged

4.  Replace, red LED, 

expended  

Note:

 Some batteries  

may be so discharged  
 that the red LED 
doesn’t light.

9 V/6LR61 batteries

1.  Place the 9 V battery so that its positive 

and negative terminals correspond to 
the markings on the battery tester and 
connect them to the tester.

2.  Check the LED indicators for your battery’s 

charge status.

Care and maintenance

Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild 
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.

Responsible disposal

This symbol indicates that this product 
should not be disposed of with general 
household waste. This applies throughout 
the entire EU. In order to prevent any 
harm to the environment or health hazards 
caused by incorrect waste disposal, 
the product must be handed in for recycling 
so that the material can be disposed of in
