Product description
Baking stone for giving pizzas a tasty crispy base. Also great for baking biscuits and sourdough bread.
Includes pizza stone, baking sheet, pizza slicer and serving stand.
Cooking your pizza
1. Place the pizza stone in the oven or on the grill.
2. Switch on the oven/light the grill.
3. Dust a chopping board with flour, polenta or similar.
4. Flatten the dough into a pizza shape and add your toppings.
5. Once the oven/grill has reached the correct temperature, lay the pizza onto the pizza stone.
6. Once the pizza is done, remove it from the pizza stone.
Note:
When using the pizza stone on a barbecue, it is important that the stone is placed on the grill as soon as possible
so that it can heat up slowly. This is important in order to prevent the stone from cracking. When using a charcoal grill,
the stone should not be placed onto the grill until the flames have subsided.
Care and maintenance
• Remove any remains from baking using a plastic utensil. Do not use a knife, as this could damage both the knife and
the pizza stone.
• Never let a hot pizza stone come into contact with cold water. This can cause cracks.
• Do not use washing-up liquid. The pizza stone could absorb this and flavour your dough the next time you use it.
Wash the stone in warm water.
• The pizza stone will darken with use. This is normal.
Responsible disposal
The product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
