3. Connect a cable of at least 5 mm
²
to the + 12 V on the subwoofer (fig. 2 point 3).
Run the cable to the car battery and attach a fuse holder close to the battery.
n.B.
The distance between the fuse holder and the battery should not be more than
30 cm.
Connect another cable, this time to the positive terminal of the car battery.
4. Turn the volume of the stereo down to 0. Turn the level control on the subwoofer
(fig. 1 point 2) to min. and the loose volume control to min.
5. Insert a fuse into the fuse holder next to the car battery.
6. Reconnect the car battery’s negative cable.
input signal setting
In order for the subwoofer to be compatible with various types of car stereos with
varying signal levels, the input signal can be adjusted.
1. Turn on the car stereo and subwoofer.
2. Set the car stereo’s bass/treble control to
0
and the equalizer to
0
.
3. Play a CD or similar and turn up the volume on the stereo to approx ¾.
4. Turn up the subwoofer level control until the sound level is desirable.
n.B.
The level control is not the same as a volume control. It is only
for adjusting the input signal from the car stereo.
5. Adjust the Sub Sonic/LPF filter, Bass Boost and Phase for best results. It helps
if you can get a friend to help, one person adjusts while the other listens.

The LED shines with a green light if everything is normal.
if the LeD shines with a red light, one of the following has occurred.
•
The level control is too high.
•
There is a short-circuit somewhere.
•
The subwoofer is overheated.
•
Adjust the level control and check all connections before turning
the subwoofer back on again.
•
If the subwoofer is overheated, let it cool before turning it on again.
