Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product
and save it for future reference. We reserve the right for any

Safety

•

The helmet must be a good fit and the straps adjusted
properly in order for it to protect the wearer. When the helmet
is adjusted properly it will not move forwards, backwards or
to the sides. If the helmet does not fit well with the cheek
pads fitted, remove them and try out cheek pads which are
more suited to the shape of your child’s face.

•

Always check that the helmet is a snug fit and adjusted
correctly every time it is used.

•

Bear in mind that the helmet will not protect the wearer from
all types of injury and that it could snag on protrusions if
your child is climbing, etc.

•

The CE-mark on the helmet indicates that it conforms to
current EU safety regulations.

Product description

•

Lightweight, well-ventilated kid’s bike helmet.
CE-marked and EN 1080 certified.

•

Cycle helmet with a safety release chin strap buckle for
children up to age seven.

•

Size: 48–51 cm.

Use

The helmet has a Y-shaped retention system, enabling it to be
put on and taken off without having to adjust the straps.
The straps must be tensioned correctly and should be
tightened regularly.

Adjusting the helmet

1.  Put the helmet on and close the buckle under the chin.

5.  Tensioning the chin strap:

a.)  The helmet must not be loose so that it can slide

forward over your eyes or backward over your neck.
It should be impossible for the helmet to come off
without opening the chin strap buckle.

b.)  Snap the buckle shut under your chin. The strap should

pull firmly against your chin when you open your mouth.
Tighten the chin strap if it is too loose.

c.)  Try to pull the helmet off backwards or forwards, try

different cheek pads or tighten the chin strap if it is loose.

NOTE:

Always check that the helmet is a snug fit and adjusted

correctly every time it is used.

2.  Make sure that none of the side straps are loose. If a side

strap is loose, take the helmet off and adjust the strap as
follows: Hold the adjusting ring (1) in one hand and pull
the strap that needs tightening (2) through the ring.

3.  Put the helmet back on and move it from side to side to

even out the length of all four straps.

4.  Fitting the helmet correctly so that it covers the forehead:

a.)  To lower the front of the helmet: Pull the front side strap

(and release the rear side strap) through the adjusting
ring.

b.)  To raise the front of the helmet: Pull the rear side strap

(and release the front side strap) through the adjusting ring.

Care and maintenance

Once the helmet has been subjected to any impact or blow it
must be replaced. The helmet is designed to absorb impacts
and might be damaged in such a way that its ability to protect
your head is lessened even though the damage is invisible to you.

The helmet can be cleaned using warm water and a mild detergent.

Disposal

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local authority.
