Description
This combination lock uses letters (password) instead
of a numbers, which makes the combination easier
to remember.
Operation
Before initial use
WordLock is preset to open with the password
M-A-T-C-H. To open the lock set the code rings to spell
the word MATCH and pull up on the shackle. Make
sure that the letters are aligned with the indicator marks
otherwise the lock may not open.
Selecting a password
1) Before changing the password, think of password
that is four to five letters using the available letters
on the code rings. For four letter passwords set the
last code ring to the blank space.
2) Open the lock.
3) With the lock open, press the reset button and
hold it depressed the entire time while setting in the
new password (see fig. 2).
N.B.
When setting the
password the code rings only move in one direction
– away from you (see fig. 3).
4) Only release the reset button once you have set the
new password. Releasing the button too soon may
result in you accidentally setting another password
than desired.
To lock
Press the shackle into the lock body until you
hear a click and turn the code rings until the
password is unrecognisable.
To unlock
Set the password to you newly set password – making
sure that the code rings are aligned with the indicator
marks on the side of the lock. Open the lock.
