3. Extend the awnings out of their respective cassettes and slot the lugs found at
the bottom of each handle into the top of each post. Ensure that the notch at
the bottom of the leading edge of each extended awning slots onto the lug at
the base of each post.
4. Grab the handle and pull it upwards to release each awning. Hold the handle while
slowly allowing each screen retract back into its cassette.
Care and maintenance
• Check the integrity of all the brackets and fasteners on a regular basis.
Tighten the screws if needed.
• Never use the side screen awning if it or any of the fasteners is damaged.
• Clean the screen fabric regularly using water and a mild cleaning agent.
Let the fabric dry completely before putting it back inside the cassette.
• Never dry the fabric with a hair dryer, fan heater or similar.
• Store the side screen awning indoors, in a dry place if it is not to be used for
a long time.
• Make sure that the screen fabric is completely dry before putting the awning away
for storage.
