For the safe operation of this machine, read and understand all
warnings and cautions. Look for these symbols:

If you do not follow the instructions in a

1. You must have training in the operation of this machine before using it.
READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOK.
2. Machines can cause flammable materials and vapors to burn. Do not use
this machine with or near matches, fuels, grain dust, solvents, thinners,
or other flammable materials.
3. To prevent a fire or explosion, follow these procedures:
a. Remove the contents of the dust bag when the efficiency of the
vacuum system decreases.
b. Remove the contents of the dust bag each time you finish using the
machine.
c. Do not put the contents of the dust bag into a fire.
d. Use a hammer and punch to set all nails so that the sanding disc will
not touch the nails.
4. Do not operate this machine unless it is completely assembled.
5. Do not use this machine as a step or furniture.
6. To prevent electric shock, always remove the electrical plug from the
electrical outlet before changing the sandpaper or doing any
maintenance to this machine.
7. To prevent injury, always disconnect the electrical plug before changing
the sandpaper, emptying the bag, or leaving the machine.
8. Maintenance and repairs must be done by authorized personnel only.
Keep all fasteners tight. Keep adjustments according to specifi9ations.
9. Keep the electrical parts of the machine dry. For storage, keep the
machine in a building.
1 0. Always use a three-wire electrical system connected to the electrical
ground.
11. To prevent damage to the power cord, do not let the sandpaper touch
the power cord when the machine is running. Always lift the power cord
over the machine.
12. Precaution should be taken during the use of a floor sanding machine to
prevent formation of a combustible mixture of flyings and air. A floor
sanding operation should be conducted only in a well-ventilated area.
