SAFETY WARNINGS 

1. This hot washer is for outdoors 

use.

2. Do not cover the exhaust during 

operation.

3. Always put on protective 

clothing, safety shoes and safety 
glasses. Loose particles & other 
unwanted material can be 
propelled at high speed by the 
water jet.

4. Always disconnect the power 

and water supplies at the end of 
each job.

5. High pressure jets can be 

dangerous if misused. 

6. Do not point the jet at personnel, 

animals, live electrical equipment 
or the hot washer.

7. Do not operate the hot washer if 

the cover has been removed.

8. Do not use the  hot  washer if a 

power cable or important parts of 
the hot washer are damaged, 
e.g. safety devices, high pressure 
hoses, trigger, gun.

9. Do not point the nozzle toward 

parts that contain grease, the 
grease can spread on to the 
adjacent ground. 

10. Only use hoses, fittings and 

couplings recommended by 
Clarke International

11. Vehicle tyres/tyre valves must be 

cleaned at a minimum distance 
of 30 cm, the high-pressure jet 
can cause damage. The first 
indication of this is a discoloration 
of the tyre.

12. Do not keep the hot washer in 

standby for more than 5 minutes.

13. Turn hot washer off when it is left 

unattended.

14. Do not spray flammable liquids 

because of the risk of explosion.

15. Do not damage the power 

cable. If the power cable is 
damaged, it must be replaced 
by Clarke International service 
department.

16. Hold of the spray gun firmly and 

be prepared for kickback when 
you pull the trigger.

17. Do not use the  hot  washer in a 

closed space.

18. Do not let children or 

untrained personnel use this 
hot washer.

19. This hot washer is not intended to 

be operated by persons 
(including children) with 
decreased physical, sensory or 
mental function.
