The 

Resume

 

Timer

 menu offers the following timer options:

•

Start

—Start the timer.

•

Pause

—Pause the timer, but keep the video capture running.

•

Restart

—Restart the timer, following a stop or reset.

•

Reset

—Set the timer to zero again.

You can also configure the following options:

• Timer position

• Elapsed time

• Color or greyscale image

• Display the frame rate

• Display the frame number (video mode only)

• Display the elapsed time (video mode only)

NOTE

The timer display is moveable to any quadrant on the image capture window.

The timer is available for use outside of FA mode. 

Using Video Controls in FA Mode

In FA mode, the timer is controlled separately from the video. For example, when you 
pause or stop the video, video capture is interrupted, but the timer continues 
uninterrupted. 

NOTE

Pausing the video capture does not save the video images acquired up to 
that point to the hard drive.

Stopping video capture automatically saves the images to the hard drive. The video 
display shows the percentage of the available hard drive space already used.
