To display information on packets that are switched and punted in the software, use the
show captured
packets
command in EXEC mode.

Syntax Description
Specifies ingress dropped packets.
ingress
Specifies egress dropped packets.
egress
(Optional) Specifies an interface.
interface
(Optional) Interface type. For more information, use the question mark (?)
online help function.
type
(Optional) Physical interface or virtual interface.
Use the
show interfaces
command to see a list of all interfaces
currently configured on the router.

interface-path-id
(Optional) Displays the packet contents in hex.
hexdump
(Optional) Specifies the last number of packets in the queue to display.
last number
(Optional) Displays a one-line summary of the captured packets to facilitate
the use of the include and exclude operators.
single-line
(Optional) Displays packet information for a specified node. The
node-id
argument is entered in the
rack/slot/module
notation.
location node-id
