Spanning-Tree Commands

spanning-tree
Use the spanning-tree Global Configuration mode command to enable
spanning-tree functionality. Use the no form of this command to disable the
spanning-tree functionality.
Syntax
spanning-tree
no spanning-tree
Default Configuration
Spanning-tree is enabled.

Global Configuration mode
Example
The following example enables spanning-tree functionality.

spanning-tree mode
Use the spanning-tree mode Global Configuration mode command to configure
the spanning-tree protocol currently running. Use the no form of this command to
restore the default configuration.
Syntax
spanning-tree mode
{stp | rstp | mst}
no spanning-tree mode

stp—Specifies that the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is enabled.
