bridge multicast forbidden address
Use the bridge multicast forbidden address Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode
command to forbid adding or removing a specific multicast address to or from
specific ports. Use the no form of this command to restore the default
configuration.
Syntax
bridge multicast forbidden address {
mac-multicast-address
}
{add | remove}
{ethernet interface-list | port-channel port-channel-list
}
no bridge multicast forbidden address {
mac-multicast-address
}
Parameters
•
mac-multicast-address—Specifies the group MAC multicast address.
•
add—Forbids adding ports to the group.
•
remove—Forbids removing ports from the group.
•
ethernet
interface-list
—Specifies a list of Ethernet ports. Separate
nonconsecutive Ethernet ports with a comma and no spaces. Use a hyphen
to designate a range of ports.
•
port-channel
port-channel-list
—Specifies a list of port channels. Separate
nonconsecutive port-channels with a comma and no spaces. Use a hyphen
to designate a range of port channels.
Default Configuration
No forbidden addresses are defined.

User Guidelines
Before defining forbidden ports, the multicast group should be registered.
You can execute the command before the VLAN is created.
