SW_VLAN Messages
Error Message
SW_VLAN-4-EXT_VLAN_INTERNAL_ERROR: Extended VLAN manager received an
internal error [dec] from [chars] [chars].
Explanation
This message means that an unexpected error code was received by the VLAN manager
from the extended-range VLAN configuration software. [dec] is the error code. The first [chars] is
the function, and the second [chars] describes the error code.
Recommended Action
Copy the message exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log.
Research and attempt to resolve the error by using the Output Interpreter. Enter the

user EXEC command to gather data that might help identify the nature of the error.
