RP RJ-45 and MII Ports LEDs
PRP Interfaces Using the PRP LEDs
The RJ-45 port LEDs on the PRP indicate:
•
System and PRP status.
•
Which Flash memory card slot is active.
•
Which Ethernet connection is in use.
•
What is occurring on the Ethernet interface.
A successful PRP boot is indicated by the alphanumeric LED displays.
The PRP faceplate (
) has 8 device or port LED activity indicators.
Each LED goes on when its corresponding PCMCIA slot is accessed.
•
2 PCMCIA slot activity LEDs labeled SLOT 0 and SLOT 1.
•
4 RJ-45 Ethernet port activity LEDs. These LEDs are used by the RJ-45
Ethernet connectors. Each connector includes a set of 4 LEDs that indicate
link activity (LINK), port enabled (EN), data transmission (TX), and data
reception (RX).
