To display information about Layer 2 protocol tunnel ports, use the
show l2protocol-tunnel
in EXEC mode.
show l2protocol-tunnel

Syntax Description
(Optional) Specifies the interface for which protocol tunneling information
appears. Valid interfaces are physical ports and port channels; the port channel
range is 1 to 48.

(Optional) Displays only Layer 2 protocol summary information.

Usage Guidelines
After enabling Layer 2 protocol tunneling on an access or IEEE 802.1Q tunnel port by using the
l2protocol-tunnel
interface configuration command, you can configure some or all of these parameters:
•
Protocol type to be tunneled
•
Shutdown threshold
•
Drop threshold
If you enter the
show l2protocol-tunnel interface
command, only information about the active ports on
which all the parameters are configured appears.
If you enter the
show l2protocol-tunnel summary
command, only information about the active ports on
which some or all of the parameters are configured appears.
