Configuring SPAN and RSPAN
To delete a SPAN session, use the
no
monitor session
session_number
global configuration command.
To remove a source port or VLAN from the SPAN session, use the
no monitor session
session_number
source

global configuration command. To remove the RSPAN
VLAN from the session, use the
no monitor session

destination remote vlan
vlan-id.
This example shows how to remove any existing RSPAN configuration for session 1, configure RSPAN
session 1 to monitor multiple source interfaces, and configure the destination as RSPAN VLAN 901.

Specifying VLANs to Filter
Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to configure the RSPAN source session to limit
RSPAN source traffic to specific VLANs:
