Configuring a Multicast Router Port (CLI)
Static connections to multicast routers are supported only on switch ports.

Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to add a multicast router port to a VLAN:

Step 1
Specifies the multicast router VLAN ID, and specify the
interface to the multicast router. ipv6 mld snooping vlan vlan-id mrouter interface

Example:
Switch(config)# ipv6 mld snooping vlan 1 mrouter
interface gigabitethernet
• The VLAN ID range is 1 to 1001 and 1006 to 4094.
• The interface can be a physical interface or a port
channel. The port-channel range is 1 to 48.
