The kerberized management server (KMS) fails to establish the pf_key socket with the Internet
Protocol security (IPSEC) engine. This implies that the IPSEC engine is not running and that it may
not be installed.

1. Verify that the IPSEC is installed and running in the kernel.
2. Reboot.
3. If problem persists, call the Technical Assistance Center (TAC). (Contact Cisco TAC.)
