• To enter letters by using the keypad, use a corresponding number key. Press the key one or more times
to display a particular letter. For example, press the

key once for “a,” twice quickly for “b,” and three
times quickly for “c.” After you pause, the cursor automatically advances to allow you to enter the next
letter.
• Press the softkey
if you make a mistake. This softkey deletes the character to the left of the cursor.

to discard any changes that you made.
• To enter a period (for example, in an IP address), press

on the keypad.
The Cisco IP Phone provides several methods to reset or restore option settings, if necessary.

Wi-Fi Settings
Wi-Fi settings are available only on Cisco IP phone 6861 Multiplatform Phones.
You can customize Wi-Fi settings for your phone from the
Wi-Fi configuration
menu under the
Network
configuration
menu on the phone. Some of the Wi-Fi settings are also available on the phone web page.
Turn the Wi-Fi On or Off from Your phone
You can enable or disable the wireless LAN of your phone from the
Wi-Fi configuration
menu.
