  Remove and Replace Cisco 4000 Series ISRs Power Supplies

Step 3

Remove the plastic cover from the terminal block. Save the covers for re-installation after you finish 
wiring. See 

Figure 5-37

 Use a screwdriver to loosen the terminal block captive screws, as shown in 

Figure 5-41

.

Step 5

Repeat these steps for the remaining DC input power source wire as applicable.

Step 6

 Remove the input power cable from the terminal block, and gently push it out of the terminal block.

This section describes how to install the DC power supply input power leads to the Cisco 4331 Router 
DC input power supply. 

•

The color coding of the DC input power supply leads depend on the color coding of the DC power 
source at your site. Ensure that the lead color coding you choose for the DC input power supply 
matches the lead color coding used at the DC power source and verify that the power source is 
connected to the negative (–) terminal and to the positive (+) terminal on the power supply.
