9.8  Image sizes 

If the camera is supplied with information of the frame start at CC3 or CC4 (via Camera Link) 
or  at  the  IO  Port,  it  is  able  to  generate  FVAL  (VSync)  and  frame-valid  signal.  The  external 
signals have to be connected with the IO Configurator to the internal functions in CST. Without 
these signals, the camera is able to send images in free-running mode.
