Configuring system settings
Setting up password protection
Protect your projector with a password. Once enabled, you must enter the password before you can
project an image.
1. Select
Menu
>
Configuration
>
Menu Preferences
>
PIN Protect
.
2. Enter a password by number keys.
3. To confirm the password, select
OK
.
Changing password
Change the current password to a new password.
1. Select
Menu
>
Configuration
>
Menu Preferences
>
Change PIN
.
2. Enter current password by number keys.
3. Select
OK
.
4. Enter new password by number keys.
5. Select
OK
.
6. To confirm the password, enter new password again by number keys.
7. Select
OK
.
Setting up power mode
Adjust various projector's power settings including the shutdown time, sleep timer, and standby
mode.
Setting the standby mode
Determine which standby mode the projector is in when AC power on.
1. Select
Menu
>
Configuration
>
Power Management
>
Standby Mode
.
2. Select the appropriate mode:
•
0.5W mode
—Less power consumption which does not have the ability to monitor the
projector over a network cable in standby mode.
•
Communication mode
—More power consumption in standby mode which allows you to
monitor the projector over a network cable.
3. Press
ENTER
.
Communication mode is the projector’s default standby mode. After performing factory reset,
manually set the standby mode to 0.5W mode to have less power consumption (<0.5W).
