Color performance
To preform the color performance, complete the steps below.
1. If the image is noisy, press Menu > Size & Position > Pixel Phase and adjust the phase.
2. If color appears abnormal under the 64 grays RGBW pattern, enter service mode to complete a
Color Speed and Color Wheel Index adjustment, the color speed settings as below:
• When the Color Speed is 2X, set the Sequence Code to 1 and set the Wave Form to
1.
• When the Color Speed is 3X, set the Sequence Code to 1 and set the Wave Form to

Performing an ABC calibration
To preform the ABC calibration, complete the steps below:

Use the HDTV (408p, 720p, 1080p) source to complete the test. The color shall not turn
purple and blue.
Warning! Failure to comply with the following could result in death or serious injury.
• Do not stare into beam when the projector is on. The bright light may result in permanent
eye damage.

Inspection items
• Check if each color level (Red-Green-Blue-Gray) appears normal.
• Check the color saturation.

Criteria
• Screen appears normal. It should not have any abnormal conditions, such as
visible noise on the screen.
• Color appears normal.
• RGBW should all appear normal on the screen and sort from R-G-B-W.
• Color levels should be sufficient and normal.

• Always perform an ABC calibration after repairing the main board, the combiner or
replacing the light engine.
• The top cover must be removed during the adjustment.
• Must hold on the interlock switch on the left cover to power on with the top cover
removed.
