Setting the lamp mode
CounterAct is equipped with two Care222 B1 lamp modules and can operate in single-lamp or dual-
lamp mode.
Caution! If not avoided, the following could result in minor or moderate injury.

This procedure must be performed by a qualified installer.
•
Single-lamp mode—Runs one lamp at a time when disinfecting and intelligently equalizes the
operating hours for the two lamp modules. CounterAct must be installed in a ceiling with a
minimum height of 6.7 m (22 feet) to 8.5 m (28 feet).
The estimated lamp replacement cycle for CounterAct operating in single-lamp mode is double
to the lamp replacement cycle operating in dual-lamp mode.

Dual-lamp mode—Runs both lamps when disinfecting. CounterAct must be installed in a ceiling
with a minimum height of 8.5 m (28 feet).
To ensure safety redundant circuitry exists, CounterAct has two lamp mode switches. The following
image shows the position of the switches (on the reverse side of the Care222 label).
