5-3. Zero and Span Adjustment for Digital Recording
When the rated accuracy still cannot be achieved after performing the scale check, perform a channel-by-channel
adjustment.
1. Adjustment procedure
(1) Preparation
1) Connect a tester (standard DC voltage generator or precision variable resistor) to an adjustment target
channel number.
2) Pressing

(2) Select channel number
Pressing the

key advances/reverses channel number. Select a desired channel number.
(3) Zero
adjustment
Obtain zero correction data
Apply an input equivalent to zero value
(minimum value of measuring range).

The span adjustment display appears
several seconds after pressing the
key.
The display shows a channel number and
zero value (minimum value).
When the minimum value input and the
correction data registration to the memory
are completed, the display changes to the
span adjustment display.
(4) Span
adjustment
Obtain span correction data
Apply an input equivalent to span value
(maximum value of measuring range).

The zero adjustment display appears several

key.
The display shows a channel number and
span value (maximum value).
When the maximum value input and the
correction data registration to the memory
are completed, the display changes to the
zero adjustment display.
