measurement range will be displayed.
2) For the transmission measurement mode, the average transmission coefficient of the transmission path within the
measurement frequency range will be displayed.
3) This format is applicable to observation of the responses close to the magnitude.
2.6.5.2 Log Format
1) For the reflection measurement mode, the unit response of the return loss (dB) will be displayed. The displayed
value is the average value of return losses of the breaking point within the measurement frequency range.
2) For the transmission measurement mode, the unit response of the transmission loss or gain (dB) will be
displayed. The displayed value is the average loss of the transmission path within the measurement frequency range.
3) This format is applicable to observation of the wide dynamic range of the transmission response.
2.6.5.3 Standing Wave Ratio
For the reflection measurement mode, the average standing wave ratio (SWR) of the breaking point within the
measurement frequency range will be displayed.
2.6.5.4 Format for the low-pass mode: REAL.
1) The real unit response will be displayed in this format.
2) The low-pass mode should be applied if the DUT has the response down to the DC value.
3) The band-pass mode should be applied if the DUT has no measurement response to the DC value.
2.7 Setting of Time Domain Transformation Measurement
Menu path:
[Analysis] > [Time Domain] > [Time Domain Transformation...]
. The
[Transform]
dialog box will
appear.
Tick the
[Transform]
check box to enable the time domain transformation function.
Click
[Start]
,
[Stop]
or
[Center]
, and
[Span]
box to set the range of time domain transformation.
Select the transformation mode in the
[Transform]
zone:
[Low Pass Impulse]
,
[Low Pass Step]
or
[Band Pass]
.

Setting of the
window
function: click
[Transform]
dialog box >
[Window]
, and set the window filter in the
following three methods.
➢
Drag the slider with the mouse until the pulse width or side lobe level conforms to the requirements.
➢
Click the
[Kaiser Window β Parameter]
box, and set the β value, until the pulse width or side lobe level
conforms to the requirements.
➢
Click the
[Pulse Span]
box and directly set the response pulse width.
